Lunar New Year is the most important Chinese traditional festival to the Chinese people. Celebration of Chinese New Year in Hong Kong kicks off with the Lunar New Year Fair. Each year, the Fair takes place between the 26th and 30 th days of the last lunar month. Families go to the fair and purchase plants, flowers and accessories for the festival. The Lunar New Year Fair in Kwun Tong, with around 130 stalls every year, is set in the Kwun Tong Hong Ning Road Playground. Attendance on the last day of the fair could purchase at a good bargain price.
