Hong Kong Public Records Building

The Hong Kong Public Records Building was opened in 1997 as the first purpose-built archival facility in Hong Kong. The Public Records Office stores and manages over one million archival records and library items, dated from the mid 19th century to the present. The welcoming public areas include a large working reference room, an exhibition hall and a search room equipped with computers for access to the extensive archival collection. Transportation

Kwun Tong MTR station exit D1, and walk along Tsui Ping Road for about 5 minutes; or take bus route no. 13M, 14, 14B, 14X, 15, 15A, 16, 16M, 38, 40P, 42C, 601, 601P, 606, 606A, 606P, 619, 619P, 641, 89, 89B, 89X, 93K, 98A, N619 and get off at Kwun Tong MTR bus station; or route no. 11B, 11C, 89C and get off at Tsui Ping Road.
